Editorial Assessment

Starting at $0.01/word
Improve your draft with a critique letter
You get a thorough read of your full manuscript and I provide feedback in an editorial letter covering issues regarding plotting, pacing, narrative flow, character development, character motivation, dialogue, voice, transitions, structure, any points of confusion, and more. You'll receive tips about poorly constructed sentences, punctuation, and grammar. I do not make edits to the manuscript itself, but I'll note the parts I like!

Copy Editing

Starting at $0.02/word
Improve your completed drafts
Receive revisions to sentence structure, spelling, grammar, punctuation, passive writing and verb tense, awkward phrasing, and word usage errors. This may include suggested improvements to style, clarity, consistency, pacing, and dialogue.

Proofreading

Starting at $0.01/word
Final editing before publication or submission
Receive corrections on any typographical errors; omitted, repeated, or misplaced letters, words, sentences, or paragraphs; aesthetic issues that affect formatting; inconsistency in style, spelling, font type and size; errors in grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and spelling.
